He joined the Indonesian Nature Lovers Student Association in 2012, an organization focused on outdoor sports (rock climbing, rafting, caving) and environmental conservation. He dropped out of his two studies, majoring in early childhood education and psychology at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra, and moved to Yogyakarta in 2018 to major in fine art at the Indonesia Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta. In 2019, he took a six-month English course in Pare, East Java, at the Benefit English Course in Pare. He then moved to Bali to further his tourism expertise, specializing in diving and surfing. He is the owner of Team Pal, explaining that tourism, for him, is the process of uniting two things as a team and fostering friendships between people from around the world. Currently in Bali, he focuses on his coffee business at his cafe, a Sumatra coffee supplier, and his surf school in Uluwatu. He would love to return to Sumatra and take you to the hidden paradise of his teenage playground. North Sumatra is always in his heart.
